Andy Ellis is a Motion Designer, Product Designer and Live Visual Artist working in London and internationally. With over twelve years of experience in both agencies and client side, Andy brings a wealth of experience to design problem solving. With his unique overview of the industry, Andy has produced work for some of the world’s leading brands including Adidas, Nokia, Ford, Samsung and Verizon.
Andy has managed teams of product designers, across multiple disciplines. Especially building studios Motion Design capabilities. His skill set has enabled agencies to work competitively within Motion Graphics, Motion Design for Digital Products, User Experience and Information Architecture, Brand Development, Experiential Brand Experiences and Live Visuals for events.
His wide range of expertise has seen him lecture at many educational institutions over the past few years, including LCC in London and NYU in New York. He was picked to judge entries for the Moving Image category for the 2013 D&AD’s Student Awards as well as more recently ‘Best in Show; judge at D&AD’s New Blood Awards.
Andy is available for speaking engagements, panels and workshops. He has attended the Winter Music Conference in Miami, as a part of the Live Visuals panel. Also more recently at VR World in London, discussing Virtual and Mixed Reality within digital product and events and how to optimise consumer engagement.
He is now focusing on defining best practices for Motion design within the VR and MR spaces, creating engaging branded experiences.
